Orb and Crown of Pholtus

Orb of Pholtus

Wondrous Item, Legendary (requires attunement by a cleric or paladin of Pholtus)

The Orb of Pholtus is a radiant sphere, crafted from flawless crystal and filled with the divine light of Pholtus. It serves as a conduit for his divine power and grants its wielder the ability to channel his will.

Powers

  1. Divine Light: The orb can emit a beam of pure light. As a standard action, you can command the orb to emit a ray that deals 6d6 points of damage to any creature it strikes. Undead and creatures vulnerable to sunlight take double damage. A successful Reflex save (DC 20) halves the damage.

  2. True Seeing: While holding the orb, you can use true seeing (as the spell) at will.

  3. Divine Vision: Once per day, you can use the orb to gain a divine vision, as per the spell divination. This allows you to ask Pholtus a question, and he provides a cryptic but truthful answer.

  4. Sunburst: Once per day, you can use the orb to cast sunburst (as the spell).

  5. Protective Aura: While attuned to the orb, you are surrounded by a protective aura that grants a +2 sacred bonus to AC and saves to all allies within 20 feet.

Attunement

To attune to the Orb of Pholtus, you must spend a long rest (8 hours) in prayer and meditation, dedicating yourself to the service of Pholtus. Only a cleric or paladin who worships Pholtus can attune to the orb.

Crown of Pholtus

Wondrous Item, Legendary (requires attunement by a cleric or paladin of Pholtus)

The Crown of Pholtus is a majestic circlet made of silver and gold, encrusted with gems that radiate the light of Pholtus. It symbolizes Pholtus’s divine authority and grants the wearer significant power and protection.

Powers

  1. Divine Authority: The crown grants a +4 bonus on all Charisma-based skill checks and the ability to cast command at will.

  2. Aura of Law: While wearing the crown, you emit a 30-foot aura of law. Chaotic creatures within this aura take a -2 penalty on attack rolls, skill checks, and saving throws.

  3. Divine Shield: Once per day, you can activate the crown to create a shield of divine energy around yourself and up to six allies within 30 feet. This shield grants a +4 deflection bonus to AC and a +4 resistance bonus on saving throws for 10 minutes.

  4. Holy Nimbus: The crown can be used once per day to create a holy nimbus around the wearer. This nimbus acts as the holy aura spell, providing protection and benefits to the wearer and their allies for 1 minute.

  5. Greater Restoration: Once per day, you can use the crown to cast greater restoration (as the spell).

Attunement

To attune to the Crown of Pholtus, you must spend a long rest (8 hours) in prayer and meditation, dedicating yourself to the service of Pholtus. Only a cleric or paladin who worships Pholtus can attune to the crown.

By wielding the Orb and Crown of Pholtus alongside the Rod of Pholtus, you become a paragon of Law and Order, embodying the divine will of Pholtus and spreading his light to all corners of the world.

Give Legendary actions when all three are together

ChatGPT

When the Rod of Pholtus, Orb of Pholtus, and Crown of Pholtus are attuned and wielded together by a cleric or paladin of Pholtus, the wielder gains the following legendary actions. These actions can be taken at the end of another creature's turn and can be used a total of three times per round, regaining expended actions at the start of the wielder's turn.

Legendary Actions

  1. Blinding Light (Costs 1 Action): The wielder can cause a flash of divine light to erupt from the rod. Each creature of the wielder's choice within 30 feet that can see the light must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of their next turn.

  2. Healing Touch (Costs 1 Action): The wielder can touch a creature within reach, using the divine power of the Orb of Pholtus to heal them for 4d8+10 hit points. This action can also cure one disease or neutralize one poison affecting the target.

  3. Shield of Law (Costs 1 Action): The wielder can invoke the power of the Crown of Pholtus to create a shimmering barrier around themselves or an ally within 60 feet. The target gains a +2 bonus to AC and saving throws until the start of the wielder's next turn.

  4. Smite Chaos (Costs 2 Actions): The wielder channels the power of Pholtus through the rod to strike at the forces of chaos. The wielder makes a melee attack with the rod, and on a hit, the target takes an additional 6d8 radiant damage. If the target is chaotic, it must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be paralyzed until the end of its next turn.

  5. Sunburst (Costs 3 Actions): The wielder can channel the combined power of the Rod, Orb, and Crown to unleash a devastating burst of sunlight. Each creature in a 60-foot radius centered on the wielder must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw. A creature takes 12d6 radiant damage and is blinded for 1 minute on a failed save, or half as much damage and is not blinded on a successful one. Undead and oozes have disadvantage on the saving throw. The blinded creature can make another Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

These legendary actions reflect the divine might and authority bestowed by the artifacts of Pholtus, allowing the wielder to enforce law and order while vanquishing darkness and chaos.
